Jamaica To Rahtid Pupalick Interview 2008

This was one of the most fun interviews I have ever shot. I was in Jamaica covering the "Emancipendence" Day celebrations in August 2008. Emancipendence is a word coined by the Jamaican people to incorporate the week long celebrations for emancipation and independence. The celebrations are usually the first week in August.

This interview was done in Jamaica after watching these actors in action in the play Jamaica To Rahtid Pupalick. It was the most hilarious play I have seen in a long time. All the actors are very accomplished Jamaican actors with years of performance on radio, TV and Theatre under their belt.

This was shot for CIN- Caribbean International Network- a New York Based TV channel, for their show "Caribbean Lifestyle TV" The regular host, Irwin Claire was unable to make it to Jamaica for his show and I jumped at the opportunity. It was very exciting and fun!
