Jamaican food, you have to stop by one of the Royal Caribbean Bakeries or Jerk Qzine. These family run businesses are the brainchild of Jamaican born immigrants, Mr. and Mrs. HoSang. Mrs Hosang runs the bakery, with daughter Simone HoSang, making some of the tastiest authentic Jamaican Pastries I've had here in the US, and inventing some of her own. From Rock Cakes, to Easter Buns, from Rum Cakes to Bullas, you can find them all here. So if you're in the mood for some Tuti Fruiti or Jackass Corn, stop by.
If you're not fortunate enough to visit one of these locations, don't worry. Run to your nearest Costco, Walmart, BJs, Sam's Club, Pathmark, or log onto their website and order some Jamaican Style Chicken Pot Pie or some Jamaican Cheesy Beef Patties, or how about some Jerk Chicken Patties. Is your mouth watering yet? If not, then you've definitely never had some.
